What Changes In Spending You’ve Made Over The Last Year?
Over the last several years, a lot of things have gotten more expensive because of inflation — particularly groceries. And now, President Trump’s new tariffs are about to make things get a whole lot more expensive.
However, many people have been scaling back their spending for some time now due to high prices, finding small ways to save wherever they can. So, I want to know: What are the big or small changes in spending you have made over the last year and felt were totally worth it?
Maybe you got a Costco membership so you can buy in bulk and save money that way.
Perhaps you stopped buying new clothes and have been going to thrift stores if you do need to get something.
Or maybe you stopped going to big box stores and the mall all the time and are now picking up food and things at places like Dollar Tree or Five Below.
Or perhaps you switched to only shopping for things in cash so that there is no way you can go over your budget.
So tell us the big or small changes in spending you made over the last year that were totally worth it in the comments below. Or submit anonymously using this form for a chance to be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post.
