Balancing-Cantilever Canopy
The inspiration for the project is a balancing bird toy. The principle of balancing the elements, as well as their material behavior, thickness, displacement and mass were abstracted and simulated to create a balancing structure which cantilevers as far as possible with as many elements as possible.
